Food is great, whether you eat by yourself or with a loved one, no one can argue how great eating can be. There’s no better way to eat than at a buffet, where you can eat to your heart’s content for a relatively small price, and you get to pick out from an array of different types of cuisine. Nowhere is this as true as it is at Hooked@Edge, a seafood buffet restaurant set on hooking you like a fresh fish.

Hooked@Edge offers a wide array of seafood from all over Singapore and the Asian region, all cooked perfectly by its star Chef de Cuisine Ken Zheng. It’s not just food either, at Edge you’ll also receive a first class gastro-tainment dining experience fitting for a restaurant crowned as the “Best Buffet” at Wine & Dine Singapore’s Top Restaurant’s Guide 2016 for two years in a row.

It has also received recognised awards such as the “Best All-Day Dining Buffet” and the “Award of Excellence” at the G Restaurant Awards 2016. All of these titles are well deserved and are representative of what you can experience at Edge.

But at the end of the day, a restaurant is all about food right? Well, you better believe Edge doesn’t’ disappoint on that front either. As stated before, guests will enjoy a broad range of cuisine from across the region.

If you like to start off with appetisers, you can head over to the Knife Shaved Marinated Seafood Raw Bar. Here you’ll be able to enjoy a series of cold and fresh dishes such as Prawn Tartare with sweet mango chilli and poppy seeds or White Snapper with candied logan, basil, lemongrass and fresh chilli. There’s even a Crustaceans on Ice sections where you can find different types of crabs and oysters to fawn over.

If you’re into Japanese cuisine, you can also enjoy a selection of Sashimis such as Yellow Fin Tuna or Crispy Crab Maki. There’s also the Tokusei Ahi Poke Chirashi, which offers dishes like Tuna Sashimi and Marinated Seaweed.

It’s not just that, though. Chef Zheng has also worked hard to introduce new dishes that you’ll find only at Edge. Try out additions such as the Oatmeal Crayfish or the Poached Fish Fillet in Mala Broth which are sure to pack a punch and make your mouth water with excitement.

But it’s not just cold or fresh food that Edge has to offer if you’re a lover of hotter foods you can also go to the grill station where you’ll be able to see chefs prepare your meals right in front of you. Enjoy the techniques and methods they implement to make dishes such as Hokkaido Scallops or Marinated Salmon Fillet.

Finally, once you’ve had your fill, you can close off the night with some dessert because a good meal isn’t complete without dessert right? Make sure to visit the famed Dessert Food Theater and be taken to a world of sweets and fun with desserts such as the Dulcey Nutty Gateau, Morella Cherry Strudel or Gluten-free Chocolate Brownies.

Edge is opened every Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Adults can come in by paying only SGD88 while children can enter by paying SGD44. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy unlimited beverages and adults will even be able to drink from a variety of red and white wines for only SGD10 more through a reservation.
