Exercise: an important, often neglected part of our lives. It’s what keeps you strong, healthy and outgoing, and it’s something that everyone tells you to do. Unfortunately, exercise isn’t exactly easy to do right – there are many different types of exercises with different effects on the body.
Adding to that, the effects also vary depending on how much of an exercise you do and just how you do it, so even after exercising for a while, if you don’t do it right it won’t have the desired effect.
Enter TomTom Touch.
Created by TomTom, a company who strives in creating technology that’s new an easy to use by everyone (such as some pretty handy navigation devices), this new sports watch aims to make the process of exercising easier and more fun for everyone.
TomTom Touch is designed to be worn 24/7 and comes with a lot of built-in functions, such as the Body Composition tracker, which allows you to check out your body’s response to each exercise you do, essentially measuring how it reacts to the way you perform specific exercises.
Up until now, it was really hard for anyone to understand how the measurements of body composition worked. Thanks to TomTom Touch, that process has been made a lot easier: you can now know what exercise works best for you, and in which ways!
TomTom Touch also allows you to track your steps, view your heart-rate, check out your calorie rate, keep track of how those changes as you exercise, and even monitor your sleep schedule and the effects it’s had on your body overnight!
The TomTom Touch is also equipped with a special Sports mode that allows you to keep track of the amount of time you spend on every exercise you perform, making it really handy for when you want to set specific milestones.
This device also offers TomTom MySports, a separate companion App for those that want to share their progress and stats with their friends and acquaintances. You can download it to your Smartphone to see everything you can do in the TomTom Touch, with all in the comfort of your phone, plus helpful statistics and graphs to measure your performance.
The Touch has an integrated, easy to use touch-screen it and, for those that like to be stylish (don’t we all?) customisable straps for you to pick and choose from.
The Touch’s specs are also pretty good. It has a five-day battery life that can be charged via a universal Micro USB charging cable, and it’s completely waterproof! You can wear it all over the place, even in the shower or at the pool without having to worry about it getting damaged.
TomTom Touch will be available in select retailers for the first week of November and will be sold at SGD239. For more information on it, you can check out TomTom’s official website.Tags: heart rate performance sportwatch step tracker tomtom tomtom touch
