The Earth Fest 2015 will be nothing short of eco-love, fun and food this September 26 (Saturday).
The festival will have 50 environment-friendly companies and organizations, along with vendors, live bands and games.
Earth Fest 2015 will have certain rules however: the usage of plastic bags is prohibited; vendors are charged lower participation fees if they are to produce less waste; products containing palm oil is prohibited unless it is certified sustainable; and leftover organic waste are to be composted.
Michael Broadhead, this year’s festival director, explains that the event is to uplift the eco-friendly attitude that is needed for the world today.
The event will take place at Marina Barrage from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. Free tickets can be reserved at http://earthfestsingapore.com/Tags: earth fest 2015 eco-friendly environment food market
