What do Women Want for Valentines?

Flowers, chocolates and shiny trinkets? Maybe in the past, but apparently this is not the case anymore. GQ interviewed some of the chicest women and asked them what they’re most psyched to receive this Valentine’s. You’ll be amazed on what some of them wants.

I like being surprised. You know what’s really hot? Receiving a note telling me when and where our romantic evening is going to start. Speaking of where, consider a hotel, one with lots of character, like The Lafayette House. It’s a treat because you feel like you’re away, even in the middle of a snowy winter. Plus, it’s perfect for the major amounts of mind-blowing love-making I expect. There should be no wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am kind of crap on Valentine’s!

I like to get something that makes me feel good. For instance, last year, my boyfriend got me a giant tin of cookies from my favorite restaurant, Sant Ambroeus. At first, I was thrilled. Fifty cookies and one hour later, not so much. USD45 might seem crazy, but in the grander scheme of Tom Ford, it’s not bad. And, everything from the packaging to the formula is so chic! It makes you feel luxurious and sexy.
