Whenever couples getting married choose wedding favours, most of the time they end up in the trash or junk drawer. Yes, it’s not such a nice thing to do, but what will you do with monogrammed mint tins, or tissues? The reason this happens too often is because wedding couples choose on the basis of just what is cute, or nice to look at. Sometimes (actually most of the time) they forget that if it’s not going to be useful to their guests, then there’s not much reason to keep them.
Rule of thumb when choosing wedding favours: It should be substantial, usable and pretty to look at. Maybe favours that are all three are a bit more expensive than the usual favours, but at least they don’t go to waste. It’s a better way to show appreciation to your guests for coming to your lovely wedding.
