Taking the streets in black with strong shoulder pads.
Whether or not Victoria Beckham started the shoulder pad trend is besides the point. Fact is, shoulder pads are very much in, not just on jackets but dresses as well.
Spending only an hour in town today and I spotted two ladies wearing similar strong shoulder pad black dresses. A quick look at StreetStyle and I found a similar piece in blue.
Designers such as D&G and Balmain are pretty much leading the way in this, but the dress that caught my attention is TopShop's Petite Sequin Shoulder Tunic.
Strong pads with sequins on the sides and a nice low cut back.
Revealing, but not too revealing.
