The mistress of digital-impressionist prints goes solo!

At the most recent Paris Fashion Week, Paris-based Toronto native designer, Calla Haynes exhibited the kind of promise and innovation that we were looking out for in a fashion designer.
Haynes is a former model, she got a coveted internship at Rochas, under the helm of Olivier Theyskens, before she went on to working closely with the Belgian designer for five years at both Rochas and later at Nina Ricci. Haynes then embarked on a print and textile design spree, collaborating with the likes of Erin Fetherston, Alexander Wang, Thomas Engel Hart and Jeremy Laing.
But it seems the mistress of digital-impressionist prints has gone solo! And according to Fashion Magazine, "Her water-coloured spring collection is fresh and elegant, mixing corsetry with airier shapes. They added, "And there’s a standout jacket, all patchworked pastel snakeskin, that we hope we’ll see then the collection hits the Bay’s The Room."
