Captivating Victoriana clothing hits the mall and we have Anthropologie to thank for it.

Starting this fall, Ruffian is no longer just available in the closets of Kate Moss, Kirsten Dunst and Leighton Meester. You will now be able to find it in the mall – giving women a chance to wear it.
If you haven't already heard, design duo Brian Wolk and Claude Morais have signed a 4-collection deal with Anthropologie. Deemed Mise en Scene, literally meaning "put in the scene", the line is broodingly romantic, powerful and subtle. The clothes themselves look a lot like what you'd expect from the main Ruffian line - chic, understated and a little vintage-looking. Just look at the high-collared ruffle blouses, hand-seamed hosiery, and coats with custom buttons and printed linings - you'd simply have to love it.

If the name "Mise en Scene" doesn't hint at Ruffian's love of theatre, the homewares collection had better do. From Martini glasses and cigarette cases to scented candles called "Intermission" and "Dressing Room", this collection is practically an ode to performance art.

The first 55-piece Mise en Scene by Ruffian collection is planned to launch this November. The collection ranges from USD38 to 400.
