That's not the way to treat your LV but hey, why not eh?
I was watching The Proposal last night when something dawned upon me (no, not how old Sandra Bullock has become, or for that matter how she still manages to look sharp with her power suits).
Remember the scene when they just reached Sitka, and Ryan Reynolds was throwing her luggage down the boat? Remember when he "purposely" threw her Louis Vuitton bag into the water?
Perhaps he knew that the bag was resistant to water.
Perhaps he didn't care that the bag was resistant, and just wanted to dump it in just to see her reaction.
After all, there has been rumours abound of a LV bag being found after the Titanic sank, and its still very much intact!
Well, I do know that taking a lighter and burning the leather for around 3 seconds is a good way of testing whether a bag is real or not, which makes the bag fire proof and also flame resistant. Yet I suppose no one has ever truly burnt the entire bag for us to be sure.
That aside, let us return to the question of the day, do you think LV bags are waterproof?
We're not talking about immersing it in water for 5 seconds here, but whether water will seep in even when its totally immersed in water.
