Real People in Alberta Ferretti’s Fashion Parade

Ferretti is known to create figure flattering, intricately detailed frocks. Alberta Ferretti’s Pitti Immagine Uomo 79 fashion parade in Florence surely caught attention. The dresses are everything that Ferretti is known for, but there’s more to it this year. She used real people to walk the runway and model her collection.

Okay, they are not entirely the definition of real people, but close. We know their lives, and some even follow news about them. They’re people that we can actually relate to. Alberta gathered some of her more popular fans like Camilla Belle, Poppy Delevingne and Marisa Berenson who is an iconic model of the ‘60s.

They’re not exactly the typical models walking down the catwalk, which makes the parade more refreshing. Add in the fact that these lovely ladies’ lives sort of give us inspiration, and you have a successful fashion parade, like the one Alberta had in Florence.
